Richard Mayebo is an IT Administrator and Practitioner with 25 years’ management experience, with specialist experience in IT Strategic Planning and Management, IT Business Analysis, IT Project Management (PRINCE2 Methodology), Procurement and implementation of IT Infrastructure and packaged applications, IT Security and Business Continuity Planning, and Web Application Development (Python/Django)
Richard Mayebo started his career as a technical support staff and subsequently technical support manager at Rank Consult, a pioneering IT services company in Uganda. After a brief stint as an Assistant Lecturer at Makerere University, he joined the Bank of Uganda and rose through the ranks to head the IT Directorate there, during which time he conceptualized, implemented, managed and steered various IT infrastructure, application acquisition and governance projects.
